Validating a Social Security Number is a vital component of verifying the identity of the individual applying to rent your property. If an individual gives you an invalid Social Security Number, it could mean they are attempting to hide information about themselves. If they give you a number that was issued in a state in which they have never lived, they could be attempting to fraudulently use the identity of another individual to obtain housing. In either scenario, our social security number verification is the first step to identifying potential problems.

Based on first name, last name, and Social Security Number, this report will return a result of "Valid" or "Invalid" by the Social Security Administration. If a valid Social Security Number, you will receive the year and state in which it was issued. Additional information is available with more in-depth reporting in our Premium Tenant Screening package.
